Guidelines
- Please attach all files as jpegs and send them to
ArtfulComics@gmail.com!
- You do not need to be enrolled at Emerson to submit.
- All submissions must be completed. That means no works-in-progress!
- We encourage you to send multiple entries
- You may submit excerpts of longer works. In the future we
hope to publish longer works in installments.
- Only submit unpublished material.
- If you're not sure if what you drew in your notebook during class or in your cubicle at work
counts as a "comic," send it in! We want to see it.
- Strips, one-panels, graphic novels excerpts - submit, submit, submit!
A Note on Manga
While manga is not prohbited, Artful Comics is looking for original character design.
Due to the uniform drawing style in much mainstream manga, this genre's inclusion will
be limited. Only manga with non-traditional character and art design and outstanding story-lines
will be considered.
